The following projects are underway or planned for 2003

  • Census of Oregon Governments--Inventory of city and county governments’ e-government applications currently available or planned for implementation during 2003. Follow-up study planned for K-12 school districts. Status: Funded and in-progress.
  • Electronic Government curricula and syllabi—Survey of the Top 50 schools of public policy and public administration. Unfunded; In progress
  • Profiles in E-Government Leadership--Mini case studies of policy-level decision makers nationally who drive electronic government as business strategy to achieve a lean delivery service model. Status: Seeking funding
  • Benefit Financing Research--Mini case studies of jurisdictions, such as ServiceArizona (Arizona DMV), that achieved dramatic improvements in service by leveraging innovation with information technology and paying for it from the net benefits produced by the innovation. Status: Unfunded.
  • Study Of State Of Oregon Age Cohorts By I.T. Classification (e.g., 20-25, 25-30, 35-40, etc.)--Aimed at determining likely turnover patterns and what it may mean as the push toward electronic government intensifies. Unfunded; Seeking funding
  • E-Government Policies Database—Status: Unfunded.
  • Database Of Regional E-Gov Consultants and Service Providers--Status: Unfunded.
  • Registry of qualified e-Gov Practitioners—Status: Unfunded.
  • Database Of E-Government Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Software x Program Area (e.g., public safety, transportation, human services, natural resources, economic development, education, etc.) Status: Unfunded.
